BeyondTrust has announced it has taken over Entitle, a prominent privilege management solution that manages, discovers, and automates Just-in-Time (JIT) access and modern identity governance and administration (IGA) across the entire cloud estate. This acquisition includes not only all Entitle products but also its employees, customers, partners, assets, and intellectual property.

This move adds a paradigm shift in JIT access and extends beyond traditional privileged access management (PAM) to cover dynamic JIT access management across on-premises environments, cloud, and SaaS.

Newly acquired Entitle enhances the capability of BeyondTrust's customers to provision user access to sensitive data and cloud resources on a requirement and time-bounded basis. Many firms have faced difficulties implementing JIT with existing tools, especially in hybrid and cloud environments, as regulations and industry best practices are shifting towards zero-standing privileges. Entitle conveniently resolves this issue with its self-serve access requests, automated provisioning workflows, and over 150 integrations across SaaS apps and IaaS/PaaS platforms.

The acquisition of Entitle has allowed BeyondTrust to further consolidate its Privilege Identity Security platform. The addition of Entitle to its product portfolio enhances its ability to address the sophisticated challenges of PAM and Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) in the contemporary cloud-centric landscape. This also enriches the platform with advanced identity governance functionalities by incorporating a unified orchestration approach.

The Entitle solution is now immediately available to all BeyondTrust customers.
